LOF’s acclaimed Marble series color solar cell, Stone Elegance, 2x8 customized solar modules were integrated into an 11-acre urban expansion project designed by the legendary Italian architect, Renzo Piano. This project, built upon the ground of a former Michelin tire factory,is considered to be one of northern Italy’s most important developments. With a total area of more than 300,000 cubic meters,
Le Albere adopted some of the most innovative, sustainable technologies, including color solar cells.Le Albere consists of residential buildings, offices, a science museum (known as the MUSE), shops, and a wide green park.The MUSE, a LEED Gold-certified building, also has LOF Stone Elegance solar cells integrated into its glass roof.The total output of the panels at La Albere is 300 kw.
