The facade of this seven-story building, with LOF Sparkling Gold solar cells, was completed in 2014. This BIPV project, the Kingsgate House, located on Kings Road, West London, was the first construction project in the world to earn PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) Project Certification.
Designed by Horden Cherry Lee Architects (HCL), with double-glass modules (BIPV) and 8,000 of LOF’s high-efficiency color solar cells,Kingsgate House can generate 29kw of electricity. LOF’s Sparkling Gold shutters truly make the building an eye-catching and stunning piece of architecture.
